Hi all

can any one tell me please what size wheel nuts tu purchase for my p38 as i have l322 vogue 19" wheels but with old black rsuty nuts on came like that with the car.

Would like some shinny new silver nuts but what size please ?

thanks

Tony:)

there are 2 diff sizes as far as i can remember think 21mm and 23mm measure the hole the nut goes through and thats the size you need there a company on ebay called (six one two) i have always used them and very helpfull quick service you will need spiggot rings if you dont already have them fitted hth

Hi

yes got the rings fitted just wanted to smarten up the wheel nuts as my old black ones are a bit tatty now.

thanks

Tony yer need 23's mate ...+ they must be "shamfered" type .. Standard P38 nuts will NOT "lock down" the wheels P38 wheels have "Blunt bottoms" (i.e. in profile they are "Square" where the nut meets the bottom of the nut hole)

L322 wheels are "shamfered" at the bottom (in profile they are a "V" shape where the nut meets the bottom of the nut hole)

Also & MOST IMPORTANT HERE you need to know WHAT YEAR yer wheels were manufactured as the pic I posted says "BLUNT" nuts were used from 2002 to 2005 after that (Aug 2005 onwards "Shamfered" nuts were used ) ..

I.E. the wheels are very different if you can't find the date stamp (Inner side on the rim) just push yer finger down the nut hole & "Feel" if it has a "Shamfered" Seat Fitting "Blunt" nuts will give you Violent (& I really do mean VIOLENT) Steering wobble ...You'll be All over the place Tony, make sure you fit the correct ones for your new wheels

Hi Keith

thanks for the info I need the early type any thoughts on the cheapest place to get a set have looked at ebay and about £70 as apposed to £45 for a later set.

How's the world looking from up north lots of 1/2 snow here brings the whole island to a stand still and then i herd on the local radio people complaining about 4x4 drivers using the roads etc.

Just a Jersey thing people always getting off on one when they dont have one.

Got the windows tinted last weekend mobile service came to my sisters house near Gatwick started at7am all done by 9.30am not even a cuppa wanted.

best wishes.
