Freelander 1 Wheel balancing weight fell off...

Hello All,

Just thought to put the summer wheels on, but one of the weights fell off the rim. I was wondering if I could stick that back on myself or should it go to the garage first? If myself, which clue or whatever it is could be used. It looks like a double sided tape that they have used. If garage could I drive it with summer tyres on there?

If you know exactly where it was, stick it back on with some double sided foam tape, clean the wheel and clean the weight first. Or just put another one on the same size.
If you've done a lot of miles since fitting, then it's worth getting a rebalance, especially if it's the front

You can drive to the garage, but you might get bad vibration so keep the speed down

Thanks @kermit_rr . Yes, I've seen where it was, cleaned the bit and stick it back on. I think I'll get rebalanced still.
It's been a while since the balancing was done.

I'd drive it at speed first, to see if there is even an issue. If there is, pop down to the tyre fitter.
