Why was it sensible? Apart from getting a job done I wasn't expecting which was more than sensible

Oh, and that's the first and Last "upskirt" shot of Neil I ever want to see ;) :D :pound:

Yes I heard about you collecting water from the river at Stalling Busk in your diff :D:D

Could have been worse, the Disco could be still there as a bridge ornament :D:D

axle x2
t-box x1
g-box x1
timing case x1
;)

Yes but it has some more bits that join it all together and then another bit which fits to the snorkel. At least that what I think the instructions say, not too sure, which is why its still in the bag :eek::rolleyes:

I reckon that's a polite way of offerin to help sue fit it :D

feck off thats wat your for:D

I shall fit it myself, one day, preferably before I go to Wales.:cool::cool:

In fact I could do a picture thread :p:p:p

I have kind of worked out how the manual works to find the bits I need to fit it to. Now all I need is Neils workshop for a couple of days and to remember my glasses :rolleyes::D:D:D:D:D

:D

There is a breather pipe on the rear axle and I'm convinced the open end of it goes higher than Stalling Busk's water level at the time. It certainly disappears up into the body somewhere!

Neil had the theory that hot axle hitting cold water could cause enough contraction to suck the water past the pinion oil seal (which is weeping at the moment). Picked up a new genuine LR seal yesterday £13-odd including VAT. from local dealership.

Joints mean faults, single runs are more reliable
