Hi folks I'm terry live in Bristol uk recently bought a 2004 range Rover L322 4.4 v8. I currently have inactive suspension which I believe everyone gets a regular dose in the tight fit community of or. I have no power even going to the switch? More importantly I think the front differential has blown. I had a loud bang puff of smoke and the most and metal grind. Luckily had left motorway and was doing only 6mph. How terminally ill is she
 
If there are no lights on the height selector that is a "hard fault" and requires an Icarsoft LR diag to check and clear..

I'd tell you what code it has thrown too..

The Front Diff on the L322 isn't the strongest unit from memory.

Drain the oil out "if there is any left" and check for debris.

Thanks I had heard that. The mechanic iv spoken to Said the same and advised I contact land rover with reg and vin before he starts doing anything on mine. Dose anyone know ware I would direct my enquiry to? Thanks again for your help folks
 
Ask your nearest JLR main dealer they should be able to check on line for the history, or put your reg in to dvla mot history and check recalls.
