Almost the same about another two groups i know, go out with them and if your new get a leture about mis behaiouring, stick to glass guidelines, follow set route map, no off priste driving etc

Think it could also be down how to handle angry farmers, claim your not sure, ask advice say you looking to get somewhere specfic, accept you might not get on a lane, don't press a point, say your sorry ask for directions and you might avoid a lot of problems.

I've been with groups who claim "we have the right" quote laws push the point etc, and see them get into all kinds of problems. Local knowledge is worth a lot you get to know the moaners who try it on and equally the ones who are within their rights, but more important which way to go.
