Mine thinks its been Christmas since I picked her up in September.... she has had thousands of pounds spent on her!!! she is being treated to a Skytag tracker tomorrow, she needs protecting from dirty rottden theiving scumbags.... she already has a steering lock CAT2 imob a van parked across her etc.... then I think maybe a pay and play on Boxing Day will be in order and if she performs then another small treat will be in order...maybe some more insulation as its getting bloody cold lol..... merry Crimbo everyone!!!

Any info on the heater you installed

Ratty had a thread a while back about a 300 watt ceramic heater he installed.

Think the one I picked up for £56 is a slightly cheaper make but very similar.

To be honest it doesn't blast hot air out like a domestic heater, but once run for a few minutes certainly makes a difference - it more supplements the existing heater rather than replaces

I mounted mine (90 panel van) onto the roof cross member above the middle seat so it is angled down towards the windscreen. Ran cables behind cab roof lining, down behind passenger door pillar and then under passenger seat to battery

Can post piccy if interested.

I've saved a few air conn resistors, with the intention of making a super powered 12v heater one day - only handy if you have a second alt or a aux battery as the drain at full power would be 80 to 100 amps

max rated about 1Kw @ 12v - the same PTC technology as those fancy heaters (just lots hotter)

these have 3 sections, which equate to about 200w - 500w and 1000w - add a small motorbike fan 8'' ish, an enclosure, and away you go
