What to look for?

I'm really considering getting an L322 Range Rover.

I'll hopefully have around £10k to spend, i've seen a few on Ebay with reasonable mileages for this price.

Is this a wise purchase? What should I look out for if I do take the plunge?

Or is it a safer bet to sell my Defender and put all the money into a newer Defender at around £15k?

Personally I'd have the l322 just totally different machines as you'll know. From a money point of view... If your going to be spending 10k on something like an l322 you'll need another say 4k just incase it is a dog and you need to replace things like the gearbox which is a common fault. So from that point of view I'd buy a new defender and know it'll be a far better truck for longer... But if you can afford to throw money at the l332 when It needs it go for it mate!

L322 over complex HOS. Just do a search, it's been covered many times.

Well I have an old defender, a fairly new defender and an L322 and my preference is in that order.

Makes no difference, they all break.

Not bothered about fuel type tbh.

if your happy with your defender then go for a newer one. the RR is so different..and problematic

have you tried a D3..?
