My advice bitches is don't **** with the regulars as you will soon run out of friends and be out gunned.

blah blah blah ****ty's are **** and i ain't no noob i just don't post mindless drivel

except for this of course

oh by the way,to the op'buy a fender it'll hold it's value much better than a disco and ya can still make em comfy if ya not lanky that is;)

Back to the OP if he hasnt already made his mind up. If you buy a Defender as great as they are you'll soon be missing the speed, comfort and heater of the Clio, so is there any way you could run two cars? Clio as the runabout and a Defender as a low mileage off road toy would be ideal in my eyes!

If you can't though a roadworthy 300tdi Disco can be picked up from about £500ish upwards, and with a few modifications here and there will go nearly anywhere a Defender will for much less cash. This was the reasoning behind buying mine, I wanted a Defender but couldn't afford one!

roadworthy 300tdi's fer £500? i'll buy as many as you can find fer that much

Mine was £500, and while it's not quite as pretty as yours it came with 11 months MOT and was definitely roadworthy! They don't crop up that often though and when they do you'll have to settle for a tatty looking one most of the time.

But you'll only put more dents and scratches in it off road so who really cares about the cosmetics? :D

Freelanders have one good point :), Disco's quite a few more:):):), but Defenders are best, everybody wants one (openly or secretly) they are the dream vehicle, so live the dream:):):):):)

Enjoyed this thread, thanks to all the participents, the knowing and unknowing :D:D

Oh yes, get a Defender :)

Cheers guys, i think there was some good advice in there somewhere :), my cars are usually more toys than anything as we use my brothers car for work which is one reason i got the clio sport in the first place, i'm thinking more along the lines of defender as it's probably more practical for me, cheers for all the replies.
