What thread spec for rocker cover bolts?

Hi again.

I'm wanting to get some replacement rocker cover bolts (I managed to lose some). I guess I have 2 questions really, firstly does anyone have the LR part number(s)? Different lengths??

Second, can anyone tell me the correct thread spec and lengths for the bolts? (this is so I can go to somewhere other than LR for them).

I'm assuming the thread is an imperial measurement?? I'm always mystified by imperial measurements for threads / nuts / bolts - I was brought up on metric!

2000 P38 V8 4.6.

Part nos are ERR7370 (short) and ERR7371 (long). Google them, you may get the thread sizes somewhere.

I've found them to be as follows:
ERR7370 - 1/4 UNC x 7/8"
ERR7371 - 1/4 UNC x 1 1/4"

I'm just looking now to see if I can get some nice shiny ones rather than bog-standard LR. If anyone knows a good website for that kind of thing, please shout!

If you're going to buy non-standard, get stainless cap-heads so you can use a long Allen key to tighten up, or go for Pozi. Flanged button head might be available, or just button head.

I've kept to standard on mine after the rebuild, haven't touched them in 30K miles.
