what thread for fuel union on 200 TDI lift pump?

1/4 bsp or metric fitting on 200 TDI lift pump fuel union?
Anyone actually know the thread type, distance and diameter?

Take yer old one off and measure it.... Oh, and go introduce yersel' in the proper way!

not as easy as you might think. you can measure the thread distance, the diam but you can't tell the thread / union type,,,.. ie, BSP, Imp, Metric.
Landrovers seem to have all the different types of thread on them, rather than imperial up to a certain date, then metric.

if you know the pitch of the thread and the diameter, that's all you really need to identify

(you can go into angle of thread, minor diameter, effective diameter etc)
