Hi all
I bought a 200tdi engine from a disco a while back and after going through it all and putting new seals and a new cam belt it was finally time to put the timing case cover on. The guy I bought the engine off of had already taken the cover off but had not kept them in any order also some of the bolts are missing. Does anyone have a diagram of the where the bolts go and which length where? Also as I'm going to have to buy some new bolts for the ones that are missing (only about 3) other than thread size and length, do the bolts need any other specification?

Cheers

Bolts are M8 thread as for length I havent a clue but do recall reading a diagram with a pic of all the bolts and their lengths shown, maybe a quick google will help?
Be aware if you put to long a bolt in some of the holes you can burst the back out of the timing chest cover, especially in water pump area.

I've searched on google and not found what I'm after. The Haynes manual has a diagram but not overly useful. I need one for the water gallery on the right hand side of the cover just under the intake manifold and one roughly in line with the water gallery but that bolts the water pump to the cover

This is defender engine, have no info on disco version, but the bolt lengths may help in the parts list
