If you don't fancy taking a part to a paint shop to have it matched (and you can get a better match this way), invest £10 in mixed to order touch up stick (google search car paint touch up) and see how close that is

Have you looked at the VIN plate in the engine bay? That usually tells you ...

I found out my paint code by asking the lad at Brookwells in Bovey tracy Devon.
He is actually a genius and knows all landy colours.
Looked at mine through the window, screwed up his eyes and declared
" that looks like **paint colour + code**, think I got that in stock"
He scurried off round the back and rummaging sounds could be heard.
" Here try this" he says producing a touch up kit.
"I don't want lacquer can I get it cheaper"? I enquire
"yeah go on then" he smiles
Fek me it was the exact match
Just need about 20 rattle cans of it and I could have a ropey spray job on me 90:lol:

Am guessing that later models have the VIN plate stamped - seemed one step too far on the early ones
