What recovery and other equipment?

Hi all

Finally got my truck ready for its first play and pay the end of this month, but need to get some recovery straps etc I have a winch fitted, but what else will I need for general winching out etc?

Also where is a good place to get straps, shackles etc from?

Tree strops, snatch blocks, winch blanket (to go over the wire/rope), plenty of shackles.

Usually buy my stuff from here. Electric winches | Recovery accessories | Trailer winches | Winch rope

i use these for all my challenge stuff

Damar Webbing Solutions Ltd - Manufacturer of Lifting Slings,Ratchet Straps,4x4 Offroad Tow Strap,Recovery Straps for Vehicle transporter

the tree strops with a hook at one end and a ring at the other are pretty much the only thing we use in winch challenges

you'll need a winch sail too to cover your rope incase it snaps

Cheers both what good size To go for in the steps I assuming at least 4 ton and say 6 metres?

never used yet though as i have a awesome winch up front
