what oil ?

hello everyone , i have just had a new engine put in my p38 {4.6 1999} . shell oil was put in {fully synthetic} but but i want to change the oil but which one would anyone recomend as there are so many. ????

3 in one. Will knacker the engine, but it pours in real easy. Castrol R40 is excellent and a snip at around £12.00 a litre. Seriously now. Any 10W 40 engine oil semi or fully synthetic will do. Even mineral oil if you change it more often. You don't really need fully synthetic unless you are going to do extended 12,000 mile oil changes. Normal or semi synthetic oil and change oil and filter at 6,000 intervals is best.

Asda still has their offer for castrol 10/w40 or 15/w40 at £12 for 4 litres...you'll need two.
