Hi,
I was talking the other day with someone about selling my 109 and they wanted to know more about the new parts I had fitted during the refurb.
I started to rattle off a few things and the list never seemed to stop!! I wondered how long a list others would get to in getting their project up and running?
My list;
Chassis and body
New leaf springs and chassis bushes
New shocks and bushes
New dumb irons
New axle straps and bump stops
New U bolts
New steering rods and track rods ends
New drums and shoes all round with new cylinders
New brake flexis
LWB rims refurbed and fitted with Goodyear Wrangler 750 tyres
Rear mudflaps
Refurbed fuel tank and new sender
New door rubbers
New pedal felts and rubbers
Smart car seats modified for removable bases
New seat belts
Smiths flat heater and pipes (quiet fan!)
Glass refitted in windscreen and leak free
New rear indicators
New rear brake lightes
New halogen headlights
New floor mounted dip switch
New twin contact sidelights
New indicator stalk
New front washable mats
Lining of truck cab
2 New wiper motors with washer
Speakers and stereo
Engine
2.25 series 3 petrol engine
New wiring loom professionally fitted
New distributor
New HT leads and spark plugs
New fuel lift pump
New coil
Recent head gasket, new valves and decoke
New thermostat
Rebuilt Zenith carb
Rebuilt full synchro gearbox with S2 bellhousing for original pedals
Well that seems a long list and sure I have missed some stuff as well as missing out oodles of waxoyle, paint, nuts and bolts.
