what modern tyre size for lwb s1

Just thinking about more road biased tyres if I can find some at a bargain price. I get more choice from modern sizes and wonder if a 235/85 is the right choice and whether they stay legally wthin the lines of the standard wings?


Anyone got any pics of 235/85's on LWB rims on an S1?

How road biased?

You can't really go wrong with 7.50's IMO or maybe some 205's if you don't want such a tall tyre.

235's will probably fit, but they are a fair bit wider than a proper 7.50.

Also IIRC you should technically use a 6j rim or wider for a 235, so a narrow 5.5j Landy rim is too narrow.
