Many thanks for your rapid response! do you know if replacement of the plastic covering should be covered under warranty? It seems to have just popped off? No damage can be seen?

It would depend on the level of cover provided by the warranty.. bad design in my opinion

If you have the bit, it should pop back on

Yeah we have looked for the bit but can’t find it so must have come off when driving. We only purchased the car in June, so have the purchase warranty, would hope it would be covered under that? Will call the garage. Many thanks for your help
