As above really, rubber hose on the top half of the airbox below the AAP sensor, runs over to the solenoids on the front left of the engine bay.

What is it/what is it used for?

Cheers

Do not know, I aint got one.............only hose in that area is the open end of the exp tank overpressure leak pipe

@Tim4x4

Would that not be going to the turbo wastgate modulator? which as his is a fender I am not sure he has. @bankz5152 says his pipe goes to solenoids on the other side of the engine. Only thing on mine is a small diameter connector tube ( part of the airbox) approx 20mm long from the airbox just below and to the front of the AAP, but it does not have anything attached to it. This is on a D2 TD5 15P 03MY.

Cheers

To be more clear, it's nr 22, a ventilation hose as the modulators need that in order to release some vacuum supplied to the EGR and ILT valves during modulation and as vacuum release means sucction the air must be filtered..irf the EGR was bypassed this one can be binned and the port on the airbox blanked with rubber

it acts as an exhaust...... to exhaust air from the egr so the actuators can return home
normally when you purchase a blanking kit ......some kits include 2 rubber plugs one for the Tpeice and the other is for the air box
