Just found a funny rubber cover on the back of my injector pump (300tdi) that I think should have a wire through it onto whatever it goes over but hasn't.
Engine runs ok and stops so cant be stop solenoid, I've found a purple wire nearby that has been scotchlocked to another wire but I'd guess it's supposed to go to this component - any ideas if I'm right or what the part is? it's on the pump near the adjustment screws and fitted from the back by the looks of it, I'll post pic's in a bit if it'll help.
