What have you done to your Landie today.

Lost the pin that stops the rear door swinging out into traffic.

Doh! Thought I heard something go 'ping' ...

Charged the batteries

Absolutely peeing it down, under Disco, front prop off, straight into shed to remove and replace fubared UJ .. Has anyone ever tried to do a UJ without any room, no vice and barely enough room to put the prop on the table! I really must do summat with this thing ..

All done, checked oils etc and all's good .. ready to go laning tomorrow.

Just got out of bath, trying to warm up .. it was drier in the friggin' bath than under the Landy .. almost!!

Just taken all mine off, over the weekend, front and rears .. fine .. 1/2" 12 point socket, 1/2" drive, 2' breaker bar, easy job!

Only posted to p1ss you off, a little bit more ..

Get a man sized one 1/2 at the least and 24-36" long you poofta

Moved mine 20 yards nearer my house, -();://-:; parking.

took some soft plus 2 rear springs off, put some unknown height and duty ones on.
sat on its arse.
took the unknown ones back off and put a pair of scrounged plus 2 d2 conversion springs on. looks betterer.
also put some unknown second hand shockers on first time round.
swapped them for a pair of scrounged d2 shockers at the second swap.

feel like drivel with all this messing about.....

and cheers from the scrounger to the scroungees for providing the parts needed.

Won a real nice bulkhead

Followed some tatty series ambulance home from Linc's. Fooking thing looked liked it had, had the paint thrown at it from a passing truck. and the driver spent 20 minutes at every junction before deciding which way to turn..

Just been out and turned the lights off the Disco, FFS!

Hope it starts 'cos I'm right looking forward to a days laning today. South Derbyshire, totally new lanes to 'us' ... only a couple of which are Byways so it could be a really interesting day ..

sealed up the front vents to stop one leak now got a leak at the back of the cab on the passenger side doing my tits in!!!

got the snorkel

eventually got the bonnet to open no thanks to my ever lengthening release cable! To check my water as landy suddenly running alot warmer than normal, water fine so more investigating tomorrow

Changed the n/s headlight bulb

Fitted new rear propshaft rubber and now it's lovely to drive again

Right. Got a problem. I think.

Lots of play on the front prop but this is while the hand break is on so can't compare with the rear prop. (I shall compare when it's light tomz!).

Also getting a one of thud or knock as I go into corners are put in gear and out foot down. Or come of the accelerator suddenly. Is this something I should be worrying about/am I being paranoid. Plus anyone know what might be causing it? I'm guessing the spline is worn out (or what ever the cog bit on the end of the prop is called)
