Working through my MOT failures... Fixed and refitted bonnet catch, bought some side repeaters and wired them in (I didnt have any, but apparently you need them on anything after '86), fitted rear number plate light, fitted middle seat from Waldershelf.
Just rear wheel bearing to adjust and then the big job - swivel and hub rebuild both sides

Did the seat fit OK? :)

Disco is still useable i think. Got to check insurance in the morning. Kinda lost urge to do it all. Shook me well up. There were lil kids in other car and i hit very close. Was so scared had hurt them.

Shouldnt have driven it but went to see bout the conversion as found good guy to do it and on way home.

Just dropped £46 on a stubby cherry bomb :) only 8" long so I shouldn't lose too much volume and it should still smoke but I won't be deaf by the end of a 5 minute trip into town  might not be helping that the exhaust exits just behind the drivers side front wheel :D

What do you want a vid of mate? the straight pipe as it is or with the cherrybomb on it?

Cherrybomb arrives wednesday I think so I'll be fitting it on the day too

But if you want a straight pipe vid I'll take one tomorrow, it's very loud! (might as well to compare before and after)

With cherry bomb fitted mate just got back box on mine still sounds the same hence the cherry bomb lol

Right will do when it arrives, I'll take a comparison vid on straight pipe too just to show how much it reduces the noise! It's ridiculous atm, drove past the police today as I was entering the industrial estate and was surprised they didn't have anything to say.

Mine is only the stubby 8" one though so if yours is a full size one it'll be a bit quieter still

Yesterday I changed the gearbox and transfer box oil. Hopefully I won't have to touch either of them for the next 40,000 odd kilometres until they are due for the next oil change.

:):)
