Quick wash and one failed MOT (Emisions) Quick blast up the M1 and some injector cleaner and hopefully it will pass tomorrow!

Bought the bolts so I can fit my Cargo Tracks.

I'm tinkering before it goes in for its MOT on Thursday after being SORN'd for at least a year.

good luck berreti!
Thanks Ryder.

I've just dug out the last MOT and it actually expired Oct 30th 2008  and its been SORN'd since.
Blimey, time flies eh.

Today I think I'll take off the new rear brake hubs and paint them. I painted the last ones but they turned out to be square rather than round and had to be taken off. But good on Paddocks for swapping them and upgrading my shoes to Mintex FOC

Fitted chequer plate to the rear door of my Hardtop 90 to strengthen it and to hide the 'skin cancer' ;)

Very pleased with the result ... but I might need to trim the CP a little as it's in danger of fouling the wiper arm a touch. Might just get the Dremel to it ....

:D

I thought it was about time I checked the oil in the transfer box, only to find there wasn't any. It took 2 LT.

Good job too.. I try get round to checking fluids every couple of months... although since my broken foot, I have noticed a rather large, and growing puddle of ep90 below my gearbox.... gotta change clutch soon,so will check that then.. :)

Fitted some new front mud flaps, still wont stop spray up my door :D with 265 cooper dicoverer stt and wheel spacers :D

spent today under the 90 checking props and uj's but it appears the knock every time i change gear is the transfer case and input shaft so time to fit 300tdi box and my 19j has developed alot of oil all over the block and dropped power this week so i think it's time to retire it and fit the 200 tdi lump which i didn't want to do without changing cambelt and rear seal but can't afford either at the moment so going to have to do without tomorrow then do the seal in a few months when i can afford a recon lt77.bugger.

Took the turbo and manifolds off my 300 tdi ready to go on the 200 in the 90.:) gettin there but it was too hot so retired to the cabin with a brew.:D

Today I fitted a s/h R380 and transfer box to my 2 door classic.
Welded some extra metal on to the clutch fork as well.
Also fitted a s/h LT77 oil cooler system from a 3.9 classic to my R380 to keep the box cooler when towing.
Had to remove the rad to fit the oil cooler pipes so fitted a timing belt as the front was already out.
Next job is to fit( when I get one)a better air con rad and a set of two tone horns. :D

dash is reassembled

clock works - all dash dials work- they werent when i took it to bits :D

replaced some fuses and my off side light and horn and skooshers work now - annoyingly the OTHER light has stopped working - and its not a fuse

1 or 2 patches on the rear xmember - rear most end of the chassis rails to do for its mot and a patch on the floor of the drivers foot well. Then ill stick it in for its mot then likely have to replace the front shocks and the swivel pins to get it through.....

I recently took the full roof rack off my 110, I couldn't find anywhere to store it so I put it back on after giving it a coat of black paint. They are bigger than you first think.
New Kenlowe fan goes on next week. I'm getting it ready for the winter.

cleaned up my recently aquired deep dish alloy... always annoyed me that the spare didnt match the rest...

called at local part worn tyre place for a spare... looked through a pile of 245/70 16's and saw what looked like a bfg a/t pattern... asked him how much...£30..

pulled it out and it was a bfg a/t.. still had moulding marks, must of done less than 100 miles... tried to keep the smile off my face as they fitted it...

now hanging on my rear door and looking mint... i'm well happy..

filled it to the roof with wood from my old fence ready to take to the steam yard.

It now drives like a boat.

Well... they all drive like a little bit like a boat (especially with the anti-roll bars removed), but even more so when they're full of wood! :D

Changed the diff and transfer box oil, could do the gearbox cos I couldn't get the filler cap out:( also fitted a de-cat pipe and fixed an oil leak from my lower oil cooler pipe.
Anyone have any tips for getting the T55 filler plug out of a 300tdi Disco?
