yes,but if it is for just a toy,why make life difficult.

It will be just a toy, my trusty disco is my so called "sensible" everyday car an when the tax and ticket run out on the lada it will become trailer mobile only.

Today I have been finishing off painting the floor ready for insulation and applying rubber matting in the bk to keep noise down then its time to rip the cab apart to reprint floors and re trim dash

that is what i am saying.put a easy to fit/work on engine in the toy.no use making life difficult is it.

And also sort out some of the holes the mod left for water to run into and draft to howl through .......

Just waiting to go back to work . One of our remote sites you have to cross a railway line with no barriers . Going to let my workmate drive over first as soon as he get to crossing im going to let rip with the horns

Are those horns just on a little air compressor ?

I would tilt them down a little at the front so as any water that gets in can run out.
I had some on my old truck and they were always full of water when you most needed them

Yes they are on a small compresor and air tank . Im using the heave duty tyre pump from maplin it gives me 120 psi and old air compressor tank with its pressure switch . Its a 6 litre tank . All jerry rigged in boot plan to rig up a aircon pump as compressor plus fab some 3 inch steel airline pipe in to 6 small long tanks to fit between chassis and sill 3 on each side all banked together should give me 18litres of total tank space
