MoT day, and..............he passed with no advisories.

Not bad for a 19 year old Landy, and given we've had snow since last Friday damn decent of him as now he is really needed

Going to get all the sludge out of the engine before I change the oil, it's the best money can buy

Got some new exhaust and speedo cable, will fit those along with new sump gasket, rocket cover gasket, oil filter and fuel filter!

And the new cubby box and refit one of the rear seats!

Ordered new seals and pins for the bulkhead vent flaps - am convinced that is where water is getting in behind the dash

I did those, NOPE!

got mine repaired now back on road again tailing arm bracket on rear axel completly rusted

Oh well, new windscreen seal, can't see bulkhead holes or getting though cable glands or brake/clutch pedal so had to be worth a try, although in my heart suspected an optimistic one!

Did you find anywhere else to seal?

gave it a wash ( dirty now ) and hoovered it inside and need to fix a few things today

And a few other bits and bobs ....

got my rear lights working seeing as thay desided to stop at 6am on the way to work this morning

side exit exhaust pipe all made up ready to go on

Top upped the gear box oil surprised how much difference it makes considering i only got a 120ml in! topped clutch slave,
Replaced hose clamp off turbo as thread had slipped, give the engine bay a bloody good wipe down, cleaned down the brake pipes! MOT coming starting to get twitchy!!!!!!

changed gearbox oil in ma lunch break as i don,t when it was last done, and what came out wasn,t to bad!.........wee bit of metal but to be expected.

tommorrow t-box and axle oil change!

nothing. cos my darn handbrake cable is frozen solid and she wont move and inch. my disco matey all was leaves his off i should have learned : got so much to do on her

All MOT'd and back on the road. Ooosh.

And MOTs now show the mileage from the last 3 MOTs inc its current mileage to help prevent 'clocking'.

changed axle diff oil , and need to replace one of the drain plugs as its far from square!

begining to realise the trailing arms i got off the bay might not be comming and i may have to "visit" the seller to educate him!

Been to see the mechanic to get the prognosis on my rotting Disco 2 chassis.

Fitted the new bearing in my belt tensioner and fitted the refurbed belt tenssioner

greased up my props and steering joints
