What have you done to your Landie today.

It goes in ok, but I only have 3’ available at the front for tinkering. As I planned to pull the engine I’m somewhere between indoors and kerbside motors.
Once the engine is out the motor is light enough to roll back. Do the engine work then roll back into place

Just passed MOT and taxed. This after an 18mth/1600hr rebuild/refurbishment. I super chuffed, it's been bloody hard graft...lots of blood, sweat, some terrible use of English...and a much reduced bank balance. Now good to go to the French Alpes at sparrow's fart this Thursday morning...:)
Looks great, hope the trip goes well.

Have you got a GB sticker on the back (soon to be 'UK' I hear)? It amazes me the number of British cars I see in Europe with neither a Euro plate (no longer valid) or a GB sticker. You don't want to get stopped for something as trivial as that.

I’ve been prepping the first wing for the respray today. Never painted before so taking it nice and steady.

I’ve also finally finished all the bulkhead repairs, removed all the wiring and bits and pieces from both sides of the bulkhead as well as the seats from the cab. Next stage will be lots of sanding.

Thanks @6pot, I still need to pick up one of these + the headlight deflector strips...sounds like a trip to Halfords today :)

Thank guys, have all the legal widgets incl' breathalyser, spare bulbs + marmite sandwiches, rhubarb crumble & custard, 2x thermos of strong tea & coffee ;)

Plus, will be completing first oil & filter change at service station just north of Dijon. If anyone's in the area feel free to come and lend a hand :p

Just used AIRCON Bomb to clear out any old junk left by previous users....

and a couple of bolts had come loose on the rear sub in the boot so replaced and touched up the paint on the wood panel its bolted to....looks pretty good to me in there now

And Plugged in an ELM327 Bluetooth adapter, connected it to Car Scanner, seems to work, will have to keep monitoring, it reads speed and voltage blah blah, and says no codes...and as i am not aware of issues I assume thats correct lol

yesterday finished stripping old bulkhead, started to test fit doors and wings etc and adjusted bulkhead to make sure doors and wings were lined up right.
Afternoon discmikey, I read that you adjusted bulkhead, apologies for being a pain but how do you adjust the bulkhead please? I have just had new door pillars and and door sills fitted I’m not to sure how to line up the bulk head, doors and front wings with the rear tub? Thanks Mark

I just had mine re-coated due to a mild collision with another SUV. Fortunately, The other party is real apologetic and with a few talks, we managed to settle the matter as pleasant as possible. Safe travels everyone!

Good results, G3 is quite good stuff really.

Had a bit of a tidy up today and found that the rats are back. Damned Britpart handbrake gaitor which disintegrated after about 2 years, I only replaced it to keep them out.

The main problem I have with rats is the damage they do, such as this:

I'll have to pull it apart and check to see if anything has been chewed inside.
