Once the engine is out the motor is light enough to roll back. Do the engine work then roll back into place

I might buy some rollers so I can bully the thing round :D or I might just buy a poly tunnel and then use it for next years pepper crop :D

Looks great, hope the trip goes well.

Have you got a GB sticker on the back (soon to be 'UK' I hear)? It amazes me the number of British cars I see in Europe with neither a Euro plate (no longer valid) or a GB sticker. You don't want to get stopped for something as trivial as that.

I’ve been prepping the first wing for the respray today. Never painted before so taking it nice and steady. 59DADAB4-9FB1-457B-A14C-CF6D962D3395.jpeg I’ve also finally finished all the bulkhead repairs, removed all the wiring and bits and pieces from both sides of the bulkhead as well as the seats from the cab. Next stage will be lots of sanding. C3813A19-E207-494E-A55B-6FCF99FA3DCF.jpeg

Sometimes two triangles (i.e. one the same distance in front as well) not sure about the specific rule in France but many countries say two.

Also one hi viz per occupant of the vehicle.

Took the seat box out tonight to get access to change the front in bolts and to get to the chassis under the cab for painting. 022D6978-7B65-415E-AC21-356D2E9143B4.jpeg

Just used AIRCON Bomb to clear out any old junk left by previous users....

and a couple of bolts had come loose on the rear sub in the boot so replaced and touched up the paint on the wood panel its bolted to....looks pretty good to me in there now

And Plugged in an ELM327 Bluetooth adapter, connected it to Car Scanner, seems to work, will have to keep monitoring, it reads speed and voltage blah blah, and says no codes...and as i am not aware of issues I assume thats correct lol

Afternoon discmikey, I read that you adjusted bulkhead, apologies for being a pain but how do you adjust the bulkhead please? I have just had new door pillars and and door sills fitted I’m not to sure how to line up the bulk head, doors and front wings with the rear tub? Thanks Mark

I just had mine re-coated due to a mild collision with another SUV. Fortunately, The other party is real apologetic and with a few talks, we managed to settle the matter as pleasant as possible. Safe travels everyone!

Had a bit of a tidy up today and found that the rats are back. Damned Britpart handbrake gaitor which disintegrated after about 2 years, I only replaced it to keep them out.

The main problem I have with rats is the damage they do, such as this:
    IMG_20210815_184204.jpg
I'll have to pull it apart and check to see if anything has been chewed inside.

Picked up my first Landy on Saturday a 1999 90 CSW 300 TDI.

Spent the last few days cleaning it up took all the seats and carpets out and gave it a thorough polishing on the outside.

overall in love with it, a few little niggles but been told it’s a great example overall.
