I've just put some more air in the tyres. I found out that my digital tyre pressure gauge switches itself on automatically when you push it onto the valve, which I hadn't realised in the three years I've had it. I've been pressing the 'On' button all this time.

Just do the same as me then, stay indoors, look through the window and watch it rust!

Had a new fuel pump fitted today.
As I found a couple of small holes in the rear tub floor I decided to replace it. When I took the top rails off the floor there was a bigger hole in the ali floor underneath so right decision. It's quicker to just buy a new one than strip it, lumiweld repair, and then etch/prime & paint.
Taking it up was a pain - ground off all the rivets but it had been tack welded down. 'Top hats' had come away from the struts so glad I ripped the floor out. I'm going to replace everything and protect it before fitting. Sourced the new floor, struts, top hats, rivets & rubber spacer pads from YRM.
With the floor up I've had a good look at the chassis and the news is it's in really good nick. :)
Once the new floor is in the next job will be a trip to a Buzzweld centre to clean & treat the underside.

Today or yesterday I fitted a vented front brake upgrade to my Beasties friend so that now it has a good chance of Stopping when I want it to. 72298B19-CC5F-4D9F-8B01-DFA7DEB427BA.jpeg 72298B19-CC5F-4D9F-8B01-DFA7DEB427BA.jpeg CD916C75-F554-41FC-B645-D8BD22125BD0.jpeg

Put the last 2 M16 bolts in the tow bar. Must have been delivered yesterday and I never noticed, just need to sort the electrics.

I’m now looking at replacing my front suspension Turrets. And when I say I’m just looking that’s what I mean.
