Sworn at it and beaten it with a stick. Then thought How lucky I was:
top hose dumped coolant all over the drive (and engine bay) Just as I pulled up after the school run.....

another 400 miles today last time though. stil got scrap runs to do tomorrow then hopefully get her cleared out and organised again along with a jet wash under and general clean this weekend. really need to get all that road salt off asap

Tomorrow going to swap my new Terrafirma springs round that i fitted whilst fitting the kit last weekend but didn't know the springs was handed, anyway got to drop son off at work in crewe ( cheshire ) first then drive back home to swap them over

:scratching_chin: Hmm I didn't know that.. maybe that's why my Disco's got a lean on it..

Yeah i asked around before doing this and i was told they wasn't but after fitting i was told they are but i didnt have my reading specks with me at the time and apparently its stamped on each spring what goes where :(

Bite the bullet and ordered a set of Timken wheel bearings for the front. Decided as the weather has warmed up it's time to sort out this vibration problem which I think is coming from the front. I shall take it to my Landy guy and get him to strip the front axle and change wheel bearings, ball joints and diff oil seal and check to see if he can see any other signs of wear that might be causing this vibration.

All sorted now then replaced my power steer belt and took some play out of my steering box, some more pic's of my new suspension after moving the springs around, going trying them out tomorrow at silverdale :D

I also cleaned mine with a pressure washer... Was amazed at the amount of mud that came off the underside considering where I've been in it

Then had a steering guard fitted :)

Wading plug in the bellhousing bloody stuck,
Rounded it off completely.
Job for tommorow weld a spanner onto it and get it out.
Thing is in there ####ing solid.

Finally got around to fitting the HD rear bumper to the Disco.. was complete bar steward because the 6mm plate winch tray that I thought I was going to unbolt was actually welded to the chassis so I had to cut it off.. got there eventually..

jet washed mine under over and in the door shuts then got the missus in it with the carpet cleaner on the seats and carpet while I jet washed the drive to get rid of all the mud and road salt. truck and drive look alot better. shame about the road :D

Started it! Just got back from 3 weeks away and just had to get in and start it. Didn't have anywhere to go, but been reading Landy mags over the past week and now can't wait to start my rebuild shortly. :D
