Didn't need to I had plenty of random ones lying about that were all good! The original ones were fineI just replaced the cracked ones with some from the spare inlet manifold
obviously they were not all fine were they.in time you will realise that when you do a big job like this,you must change all unknown items that might be not up to muster.

In my defence it was two small hoses that if never expect to go
you KNOW you should have changed them all.when i rebuilt my mini engine i replaced all the hoses except one.yes you guessed it.that bugger blew on a trip to wales.it was the very small by pass hose between the cyl head and block.luckily i found a spares shop open on a sunday in a small welsh village/town.very very lucky that day.plus it was a git to change as it was the solid one,not the flexi one.
it looked fairly good but jobs done anyway! Got one more to do then I'll try it under pressure during the week
Well I'd have changed it had I been aware
but thats what i am saying,you did not know it's condition.so you should have put new on it.it could have blown when you were out in it and fecked the engine.
but it's all done now so we're good looking forward to firing it up again and being able to run for more than 30 seconds! Missing one hose connection as I don't have a heater matrix in mine but I've got a pipe joiner now so going to connect it to the top rad hose as a return pipe

They were very handy for removing the pto cover and exhaust bolts my ratchet would t reach
