Drove it, burnt some petrol, ran out of petrol on a roundabout (switched to gas even though it runs like ****e) to get me to nearest petrol station 100 yds away, only to find it was closed, drove half a mile to next petrol station, filled up with petrol, drove home and burnt some more liquid gold, drove it in the shed and started to wire brush down underneath ready for paint and waxoyl

And d'ya know summat, there is no rust coming off the underneath of me disco, (apart from the rust on the mud flap brackets) just old waxoyl and the original LR paint :)

I've hung me transfer box on the hoist in just the right position so as I can manouver it into the landy and slide it on tomorrow if it stops raining.:D

Oh and I've swapped the speedo drive (they were both the bloody same) and lost the nut and bolt out of both boxes that holds the cable on:rolleyes:

And I've undersealed the seatboxes now the fibreglass matting has cured. Now I have a floor in the drivers seatbox and a back corner in the battery box and no rot.:D

Just need a new tunnel now to cover the gearbox, might have to make one:eek:
