If it were me, I’d change the oil in the gearbox, PTU and rear diff too, just for peace of mind.Thank you, yes, my thoughts exactly. Recently moved to countryside, so normal transport (motorbikes) just will not work on the farm tracks and unclassified roads I need to use to reach stable tarmac, never mind gritted. Thus I needed a 4wd. I know Disocs / Defenders very well (should never got rid of my 1985 110 V8), but they have skyrocketed in price. This came up, right price, right location, right time, enough to get sorted for winter.
In priority order as budget permits…..
Timing belt & water pump, Haldex service, remove swirl flaps, bushes, winter weather protection, new battery, new Xtrons head unit with CarPlay integrated dash cam reverse cam and DAB, many farkles from Powerful Ltd…
