What have you done to your Freelander today

Just replaced the exhaust back box on mine - it now needs a full service, refresh of transmission oils, a new NS diff seal and a NSF wheel bearing... oh, and I also need to sort the clutch hydraulic mechanism, which is now starting to annoy me. Also, I want to have a look at the gear linkages - much too much play in this rod mechanism to my liking.

Replaced the parking sensor that I replaced a couple of weeks ago with one that will hopefully last longer than a few days like the faulty one I was sent. Now to get my money back from the argumentative company that supplied it who then kept telling me I had the wrong part so it was my fault. Sausages

Wired in genuine LR driving/auxiliary lights switch and fitted a gaurd/bracket to the bumper in readiness for a pair of spotlights. Just need to sort the relay wiring out now. That'll be in the next day or two.

I fitted the bracket by threading the crossmember in the bumper but want to get some nuts onto the bolts too to be on the safe side. Anyone know if you can get a stretched arm in behind the bumper/grill without removing the bumper?

I fitted the Freelander spotlight kit on mine a few years back. Think I got them for about £30 on EBay. And they actually work and everything

If you want them you can have for what I paid
? I just don’t fancy chopping the bumper tbh

I'll think about it, thanks. I've done all the prep for this kind of set up now though mind...
