Mine was like that. I cut the lip off completely beat it down then welded it

Can you take a photo from the wheel side when you get time please mate?

I have ground down the bit you fold, upto the chassis rail. I just don't want to cut into the chassis rail and end up riting the car off if no one will MOT it like that.

Sorry no can help, but they have decent feedback and top seller bla bla.

The problem with the ebay feedback is it isn't item specific, so they can have a couple of negative feedbacks for the same item, but no one knows which item it is (unless its in the last 90 days anyway), and still appear to be selling top items.

I think about an inch, can't remember precisely, there was no choice! It was them or nothing:D

Ok, cheers mate.....I've got 30mm wheel spacers fitted, but as you haven't got any fitted (as seen in another thread) I don't think I'll need them. :)

Changed ird oil gearbox oil and diff oil and the took it for mot! And........ It flew through it with not 1 issue :) I'm 1 happy chappy!

Oh and I've not don't any work to the inner wings and I've got a 2 inch lift and it's gone through 2 mots now and they haven't said a thing! :)

I did some research on the MOT and the steering test, it said the suspension MUST be in its normal use position for the lock to lock test, so I don't have a clue!?

Here it is;

Looks like I might remove that lift kit from ebay and refit it.

That's why I went for 40mm as had no intention of cutting the chassis. I did not fit camber pins but did have the 4 wheel alignment done. It was just bearable in the dry in terms of handling but needed caution in wet weather as under steers. Anyhow, never really got on with it, so all back to standard and wheels aligned again - bit of a performance!
