Watching that cupholder unfold is a thing of beauty! (my wife thought I was mad when I put one on mine - and I smiled with joy repeatedly as I pressed the button over and over).
When it arrived from eBay I thought is was bust, as it struggled to open. I greased the moving parts and no difference. But as soon as it was screwed to the dashboard, works perfect every time :)

@LUKBENPHI Congrats on the new purchase!

Lots of silicone grease!
Used it yesterday on a trip out to Fountains Abbey. The other half was mightily impressed :)

Jeepers - nothing related to cars is going to impress my Mrs. The only thing that she might get excited about is if I wash it. If I also give it a vacuum and polish, I might even get lucky - but more likely is a nice steak and chips dinner with a peppercorn sauce!

I've never had much to add to this section until now. In the past week I've.......

Fitted 4 new Hankook Dynapro A/T M tyres
New Sachs clutch
Old glow plugs extracted and replaced (3 anyway, didn't have time to remove HPFP)
Front callipers overhauled (The pins were siezed)
New pads
Brake fluid replaced
Rear breaks overhauled (severe brake imbalance)
All filters changed
Oil change
Both wrong mirrors replaced (various damage over the years by previous owners
EGR blanked
ARB DL replaced
Tracking sorted

I even washed her

I think that's enough TLC for 1 week

My doris is pretty much a veggie too, and I am a cattle breeder! :D

She will eat meat off the farm on special occasions, but not other meat.

Think you need to have a serious discussion of gender rights and freedom of choice issues! :)

Thing is, I'm the cook. But I did agree to no meat in the house, talk about shooting myself in the foot!
And after 20 years, I'm pretty much used to it. Although I will have a steak and ale pie if we're out for tea.
Believe it or not, the statement 'I dream of bacon sandwiches' is real. I do! Don't know why? But it's the one thing I still long for.
What type of cattle BTW?
Mike
