Yes they can be especially in the 'newer' models from Terrafirma (another reason not to buy/fit these) as the spigots are about 15mm shorter than the originals.
The Cellular Dynamic/Britpart ones seem to be a lot better both from an operation and fitting perspective.

I am looking to replace fuel lines on a 110 PU 1984 200 tdi & fit a sedimenter back with the fuel tank.

what is best manufacturer or does it matter for diesel lines?

dash coming apart with a found super store card a lottery card there was a pence in there also.
Assuming the superstore long ago retired as it is as it was thirty five years ago.

Front passenger side shocks, turrets and springs done and a damn sight easier than drivers side, also sorted oil cooler pipe leak, now ready for MOT tomorrow, fingers crossed !

Mot booked for Saturday morning.
Need to fill grease gun up & grease everything while on ramp.

mrs took it out for a drive today & all ok.
Hoping nothing drastic appears on test

Started sons 200tdi transplant this afternoon. Turned it over for 10 seconds with wire off the stop solenoid then touched it on and it started
A few things to tidy then a spin home in it tomorrow

MOT passed, no advisories, phew! , tester said it looks mint underneath not sure where he was looking, but for a 34 yr old truck I suppose he's right,
anyway job done well happy.

Got collected from work tonight by mrs in the landy. She’s been out in some fields doing horse fencing. I did say it’s was cleaned ready for MOT.
Best I take a few bacon butties in the morning for the mot man

Landy passed the MOT today. No advisories.new MOT man thrown in to inspect it. He had to be told 1/2 way through that the nipples on all prop shaft & TRE need greasing. I’m sure he has never seen a grease gun before. Of course I supplied the gun & grease.
Quick look under after he had done his bits & no problems spotted. looks good for another few years.
May need to change springs & shocks for next year

Fitted a pair of Glencoyne anti vibration engine mounts to the 90 , what a difference!!! Wish i did this job a long time ago

Drove it. after de icing it..on the inside & outside ( still waiting to fit a heated screen)
Find interior light not working again
Drove round a few fields.
Heater working well after an 1/2hour
Enjoyed toady

heated windscreen in my defender is by far one of the most used and valued mods, given the lack of warm air to the windcreen in winter. It makes the car much more drivable in winter when you can actually see where your going

Remove rear tub roof & damaged LED side light & fog light.
Now you can’t just change the lens cover on the side light.(now to order some more)
Fog light needed a slight repair. Let’s see if you can just buy lenses.

Constant problems
Now after fitting an isolator switch it seems to have intermittent fault by not making full contact. This shows as fast flashing LED indicators. switch the isolator off/on/off/on all works ok. (Also blew dash lights)
I think the bar that bridges the 2 terminals is not making correct contact.
Now off to search for a different isolator

I bought a complete spare fog and reverse light unit at Newbury for this very reason.

Y'know the way bulbs don't really fit in cheap replacement light fittings? I had a stop/tail that wouldn't latch, and the morning of the MoT was the obvious time to fix it. I too used a hot glue gun, and just glued the bulb in. I did say stop/tail, and they get pretty warm in traffic. Bulb fell out before I got to the test centre. Fail.
