has anyone ever put a v8 diesel in a series, like the chevy 6.5 or 6.2 turbo.

there used to be some chap that specialised in it years ago when i had my 110.

mot er wont care

yeah and I suppose odds of being stopped to check it on the road side are slim anyway, plus if you do simply say they were done before 1998

A repair isn't really a mod as far as I can see, purely on the basis that if it needs fixing you use what you have available at the time so chassis is fine, no different to fitting a pressbrake crossmember as that would effectively nullify it too given that its not a purely standard item made to the same pattern as the original, sure it looks good but if we're using the same theory……….

Right, red it all and I will end up with 7 points, dam. But if I don't fit the power steering I get 9 points but then want that. Keep the axles but then got drums and now power sreering. Food for thought.

Could fit the fender axles and claim its a Zeus disk brake upgrade

power steering really don't see why not, its just updating really and you keep all the original parts, as glen says the system really wasn't thought out with landrover in mind more for kit car builds

that was my plan too :p I have an military axle on the rear and I'm replacing it with another military axle so in theory like for like as it was a 98 mod or before I reckon given the condition of it :D
