As title really, as you may have read when i get my landy first thing will be some gaskets, filters and oil change but then it struck me that maybe you guys can recommend a good oil to use? also do you think it would be wise to use an additive to clean out fuel lines? I was gonna get the gaskets and so from a local shop but if you know a nice cheap online store:D

What gaskets do you want? Rocker gasket from Haddocks others from Cornflakes boxes there better than bought ones.

I use cheapo oil from the local car shop place and change it every six months, I get the filters from the same place.

Got some cornflake boxes and couple of real gaskets, got me oil filter got some "Engine Flush" just need som oil but not sure what grade? Any suggestions.

Try Tractor Universal !

Superb oil, and costs under £1.00 a litre!

My Disco TD5 loves it.

15w/40 multigrades usually

My 210 litre oil drum was OVOLINE make, cost £155.00 the lot.

Check the Ovoline site ....

Agricultural Products

then download their spec sheet.

Then buy the stuff and save LOTS of cash!

Is it the "Agrifleet" one you've got CharlesY? Looks like SUTO (Super universal tractor oil) is 15W30 from their data sheet.

At 74p a litre its a right bargain - not sure I can store 200 odd litres of the stuff at the moment but they show a 60 litre container which looks like a goer and would be enough for 10 changes.

That's the very stuff.
It's a brilliant oil and the extra you get is knowing that you just didn't ripped-off buying retail proces oils from the likes of halfrauds & Co.

60 litres ..... 10 changes at a fiver a time!

Way to go, huh?

Beats the crap out of buying Halfrauds at £14 for 5 litres and having to buy 2 of 'em so you've got enough to do the change - or worse still Magnatec from Halfrauds at "Would you just bend over please sir" prices... I mean, yer usually get kissed first dunt yer?

I know it will be blatantly obvious when you tell me but how do i buy from that site? I cant even see the prices.. Just a PDF file :(

Try this number for assistance.

Remember, these people earn their wages by selling good oils.
They probably don't care who they sell it to -- as long as they sell lots.
