What engine oil 300tdi?

Hey guys! Just done a search to find the best oil to put in my 300tdi! but seems to be a wide range of grades being used!

Also some people say put cheap oil in run it and drain, then put good stuff in!

Any advice welcome...

dont use cheap crap oil use fleet oil from your local motor factor ,its cheaper than branded but is still good quality 10/40 would be fine,regular changing is best whether dear or cheap oil
