It's a 2.5 land rover engine... that to me says 200tdi or 2.5NA... but from that angle my engine knowledge is not good enough to be able to work it out... i'm guessing it is the 2.5NA but...
Yeah, wasn't a good angle, but, i didn't take the pic!
they are for sale at withams - re-con'd on auction, but a 2.5na is no use to be

Surely they wouldn't still have 10j's kicking about would they? (plus it's listed as 2.5) also, before anyone else bothers, i checked all the piccys off the current withams tender, and unsurprisingly no tdi's (at least so far as i can tell!) so don't waste your time! few lots of spares, but i assume some company or other will snap them all up!

Didn't see a single s3when I was at withams. Blanchards though have loads.
That to me looks like a 2.5na. I am dubious of the 'take out' engines. They were probably taken out for a reason
It's a tender - you put in your price you want to pay -i've had some great bargains in the past, and then somethings go for silly money. Can't see how they can be "robbing bastards" when you choose the price you're willing to pay for the good?![]()
Is that just for parts or for anything? My reason for calling them robbing barstewards is that they buy army land rover 110s and defenders for ridiculously cheap and sell them on for a huge profit. Last I saw they were selling them for something like 4500.
We had three 110s leave us a good few months ago. These were immaculate, and I can't stress that enough. Look underneath and almost everything was brand new, brand spanking clean. Engines and gearboxes were perfect, body work was perfect. Basically they had been fully refurbished and reconditioned then never used. The price the MOD sold them to Withams for? £1750 each.
