Hi all

I have a lpg converted Disco II which runs OK but is a bit lumpy on gas in traffic and i think it is taking longer than it should to switch over after start up.

I'm thinking of taking it for an LPG sevrice but do you know what they actually do it one and how much it is likely to cost?

Finally can anyone recommend a good LPG guy in Worcestershire or Birmingham

Cheers

I don't know any LPG people in that area but the people I usually turn to charge around £60-70 for a 'front end' service. Basically, as far as I can tell, they hook up a laptop to the LPG system and tune some settings. They will probably also recommend any changes you need to make to the ignition side of things (they recommended a different spec of spark plug and new distibutor cap the first time I took mine in).

there a place called autogas in birmingham right opposite star city, they charged me £30(all depending on the system you have) and has our friend says they plug laptop in and check emissions etc before making any changes.if you need number let me know cheers craig
