I’m attaching the Terraforma ladder to the D4. Need to drill existing holes to make them bigger for kit supplied bolts. What can I coat the holes with to prevent rust. Thanks

You could use Jenolite or a similar rust proofing product, followed by a bit of red oxide when the stuff has gone off.
But if the holes will be under the ladder when installation is complete, the red oxide alone will probably be enough. An artists paintbrush is quite useful for these very small jobs.

Bit late, but would Jenolite or a similar rust converter actually be effective on fresh holes in steel, where rust has yet to take effect? Would an epoxy over a zinc spray be better?
