Might sound like an unusual question, but that paint code is Epsom Green, isnt it?
The car has never been resprayed, no sign of a colour change under the carpets or anywhere else, but as ive got no need or desire to get rid of this car, and ive got a big pile of very good condition panels........ im sorely tempted to give it a fresh lick of paint this summer........

The tan cloth trim is correct.. but I put that in my Disco years ago and put cream leather in this one.

Finding the right paint for this one would be helpful though....

Quick search , indeed has been resprayed, so at least u now

Looks like u will have to take it to a garage to see if they can match it

hope that has helped

If it was painted green previously they did a very thorough job. They even went as far as removing the engine and gearbox to paint the firewall and innerwings, then they rebuilt it and put the factory stickers back on.

Where did you find that info, gstu?

My sincere apologies.

Thank you for sharing this with me, and also to Kermit RR (havent checked the VINs, might have a go if it dries up outside later on) i am most grateful. Please, could you tell me where you acquired the information?

You need to establish as far as possible it isn't a ringer.
Chassis number, engine number also need checking.
Once that's over as it's been repainted your best bet is to take it to a motor factor that does paint & compare their Land Rover swatches against what you've got.

ETA. Just had a quick look through my paint system & the most likely colour for a 1997 RR finished in black would have been Beluga Black coded as 416 or PUE. (Same colour, different codes, it's a Rover/Land Rover thing. Beluga is also called Caracal Black). This is a solid colour - as in not metallic or pearlescent.
Assuming they've painted it in a Land Rover colour & gone for one from the same year!
