Well he did outrun a golf in a car chase down narrow streets with 90 degree corners:D

But i was 'fearing for my life' at the time with 4 lads in the golf chasing me lol

Apparently it's legal if you 'fear for your life'. Infact i made a thread about it some 6 or so months ago, coppers actually caught up with me as i outran them for the last time and pulled onto my driveway. Luckily these cops knew what the local yobs were like and could understand me driving like that lol.

Shame you couldn't of cut through some wet slippy fields, could driven round in circles around them then left them stuck there.

The second time i had a chase, started driving down a lane i knew they wouldn't follow me down but didn't know the lane myself. Ended up slipping into a ditch doing no speed at all and ****ing my clutch up trying to get out lol. Luckily it was about a mile down the lane before the ditch so they weren't going to be following on foot. Had to get my bro-in-law in his defender to come and tow me out at bout 11pm.

I've got to be more careful over here in Ireland, i've no bro-in-law locally to tow me out haha. Saying that, the attitude of other young drivers and young people in general isn't anywhere near as malicious as when i was still in the UK. Even with my UK plates i often get thumbs up off drivers of modified cars driving around!

why do you keep getting chased

There's a cure for chavs trying to act like racing drivers... WD40 on the brake disks, by **** they don't half drive slowly afterward, thats if if they manage to get slowed down, if they don't and crash its there fault in the eyes of the police, as they were driving like retards!!

yes i know its not a proper land rover, but what sort of things could i do to it to make my freelander a bit a bit more enjoyable. i just dont want mine to look like the school run car.

any suggestions would be much appreciated. :)

My FL1 is a proper LR, says so on the bonnet. Is an RR Sport a proper LR bcos I like them too. My mate has a so called "proper" LR, he loves it but it drives horrible on the road and forget M/ways. Another (rich) mate has an FL2 and it is fab in his (and my opinion).
