I've been thinking about another project and looking at the bit's I've got.
90 rolling chassis with series 2 bulkhead but defender front end
Disco 300 tdi with shot bodywork
Basically I was thinking along the lines of a series 2 look alike but with 90 running gear.
If I stick the 300 engine and box on the chassis, could I fit a series 2 front on, or would the engine be to far forward, and would the gear levers come up behind me somewhere?
Could I put a 90 rear tub on so the wheel arches are in the right place and stick with the truck cab as I don't really want to chop the chassis down?
Are there any wheels available that have an inset(?) so I didn't have to put plastic arches on?
Any thoughts or advice gratefuly recieved.
