These are the Nokians WR G2, had them last winter and as you can see waiting in the garage to be mounted again this year. Not much difference with my BF Goodrich Macadam in the snow but guess they are better on froozen snow and ice as softer rubber and specially designed for severe conditions.

Hi, I have the Marangoni on mine , originally I only replaced the 2 rear tyres and kept my Michelin Latitude on the front , but was getting awful noise from front wheels, and shaking when braking etc, so I decided to change the fronts as well , with all 4 the same make the car drives great, little road noise, great grip and never let me down yet.

Although a budget tyre in the UK , these are a premiuim tyre in Italy , Spain etc, I believe they are made by Pirelli through a sister company.

kwick fit are doing Arrowspeed cp661s 195/65/15s at £53.25 fitted. anyone tried these? plus Marangoni Versos at £68.25 each fitted. not sure which would be a better all round road tyre.

Nokians are good. Can't speak for that specific Marangoni but we bough a pair of their road tyres for the Golf about 6 months ago. They were cheap enough and lasted well up to when we sold it. They used to have an "accidental damage" warranty on them too. Not sure about the Pirelli connection but they are Italian afaik.
