What are these Please?

Hi Peeps

Getting ready to put my cylinder head back on the 12J 2.5NA engine and hoping someone. An identify what these rubbers are for in the kit.

I know the bottom left is for the oil filler cap but no idea what the 8 small, 1 large and 1 flat rubbers are for.

the 8 small seals are valve seals, they go under the valve springs and on the valves themselves. if you haven;t disturbed the valves the old ones are still in place, though changing them isn;t difficult and I have yet to meet a 2.25 or 2.5 that can't use them.

Not sure on the other two.

if you do decide to change them certain seals go on the inlet the top hat ones and the outlet have the o ring seals. i think thats correct could someone confirm this.

The large round one at the top looks like thermostat seal.

Nah it's much too big. It's bigger than the fuel filter seal.

Head is back together now. Thanks anyway.

Change your stem seals. It really won't take long.

those stem seals look a bit rough though, don't they?
