WHAT A WEEK! Now A Miss Fire

Well, the week started so well, now its gone to Sh't lol, As i mentioned the other week i had brought what i thought was a bargin off ebay, a 2001 vogue 4.6 on gas for 1250.. i sort the head gasket, and then set about taking the coverted steel springs off and putting the airsprings back on.. this went all fine, having noticed it ran a little rough i ordered a new set of plugs and leads.. and so the problems started.

after fitting the leads and plugs.. still a missfire on no.6, i then changed the coil pack still a missfire, i then checked the ecu, badly melted inside, so after ordering a new one, having it programed still a miss fire on six... ive had it on my Hawkeye and its only missfiring on tickover, as soon as i drive off, it stops loggin a missfire untill the car stops reving...

Its got me stumped.. any ideas?

have you checked the low tension wiring to the coils

Yes checked all the wiring, thats all fine, I was thinking a blocked injector to, flushed some fuel treatment through it, im starting to think maybe a sticky inlet tapet??? was going to take the inlet off and take them out and give them a good clean and see where i go from there. I'll let you know how i get on

swap injector 6 to another cylinder
