What 6 cylinder landys were available in the UK? If so what speck

there were a few early carawagons and 109s with the lump in that i know of?

do you have and old 6cyl to id.

i have a rover 6cyl in with an overheadcam not the sidevalve.capassity is 2.6l dubble su carbs. I am in need of a waterpump.

2625cc Petrol, inlet-over-exhaust: Borrowed from the Rover saloon range, in response to demands from mid-Sixties Land Rover users for more power and torque. The big, heavy old straight six was heavily detuned for commercial use. Acquired a reputation for overheating and cracking cylinder heads, mainly due to operator neglect. (Nothing much wrong with the engine, as long as you keep fluids topped up and don't let it go out of tune.) Also it was thirsty and barely more powerful than the four cylinder petrol engine, although it sounds lovely and develops usefully more torque. Parts supply these days is patchy (although the engine remained available until 1980)

yep i reckon thats it drips.

it was in them slab o cheese rover hatch back cars.that 1 of them?

bit of luck it is,cus the only other bugger i can think of is the E series and i think the bigguns of them was for the aussies

so is that what yer engine looks like old man soul?
