Sibbertoft is a bit far for me. Prob 2 and half hours. I'm leaning towards whaddon just because I've seen more info on it and it looks ok. Lets hope it rains between now and Sunday! Anyone else going?

Been to a couple of pay and plays but not whaddon. Stick to green lanes really, but exhausted the decent ones that aren't miles and miles away. Most of what I read about Whaddon seems good, so I'll give it a go. I take it you've been before then?

whaddons really fun if a bit of a free for all, very slippy when wet lots of bogs/deep mud if that's your thing or a lots of tracks to follow just make sure you look before you leap as I've spent hours recovering people up there before who were a bit gung ho

Is a good site. Plenty to do over 90 acres. Have you got good tyres and recovery points. Very easy to get stuck so need good recovery points front and rear. And good ropes. Seen it to many times when straps break on a recovery. Have a good day.

Yeh got BFG mud terrains and HD front bumper so should be ok, plus ball&pin on rear. Bumper was tested at last pay and play when I got stuck half way up bonnet deep in sticky mud. A 90 couldn't winch me out even with a snatch block, winch was just dragging him toward me! Ended up having to be winched by 2 people...
I accidentally drove into a large bomb hole, which in fairness they had said not to go in...oops. Ruined my rad that did, just put a new one in.
Cheers I'll post up some pics on here of how it goes.

Think I saw you there today mate, I was in my grey puma 90... Good fun, but I reckon with all the money I'm going to have to spend on repairs I'll probably avoid it again for a while :D. Embarrassed myself by getting stuck, getting towed out, then immediately getting stuck again

ahh well, 'tis all in good fun!

Yeh remember seeing you. I got stuck once quite early on. What went wrong for you that you need to repair?!

I thought it was really good there though. I've been 2 other places before and they both were nowhere near the size of that place. Shame that you get a few idiots there with their £50 jap crap with no tread road tyres, just driving it into the biggest hole and expecting you to pull them out.

Dunno, something's bumping around in the rear suspension. I think it's the shock bushes but I don't know why they would go after one day's off roading! It's probably much more serious.

Was definitely good fun, though. Will be doing it again!
