Hi all,

I will be buying my ticket around the end of next week and since I never driven this far I wouldn't mind tagging along with my Freelander so I don't get lost:D

I live in Beeston, Leeds so if I am looking at the right junction 40 M1 on google maps, I shouldn't have trouble finding it.

Is it Saturday or Friday that people are planning to go?

Also wanted to check if this is update and clarify things:

Cb radio a must (operating channel 16): Is this the kind of radio we need to have?
Amazon.co.uk: cb radio

Flags optional but preferred: Do you mean actual flags? Or is this some specialty equipment? =P

Recovery - self recovery (between us all think we could fix everything): Is this like some off road recovery tools or just general breakdown recovery?

Your more than welcome to join the convoy will be on a Friday there will be a time and meeting place. Every thing will be finalised near time
Cb if fitted just for the banter on the way down " not nesery "
"Flags" this is an on going mines better than yours thing .bit of a compitision who's got the best flag/pole :D
Its all part of the fun good way to meet some really good people have a good laugh last year's was ace this years going to be fantastic.
And you never know you might win one of the fab prizes on this years raffle.;):cool:
 
As mr cool says anyone welcome along, more the merrier, page 7 was just a put it out there type thing to get people opinions, nearer the time plans will be firmed up.
Only definite thing is, setting off Friday

Well I'm going to be classy and have one tied to the back door like last time. Not in your face and with a hint of " I'm nice but don't f*#k with me, I'm from Yorkshire, it says so on my little flag there"
This convoy is going to look like we are off to challenge the throne or something lol
