I'm back and pleasantly surprised. Who'd have thought that a jimmny can do that. After all if he stopped suddenly I would roll over the top and not even touch him...

Happy with Sarah tho. No hiccups had problems stalling but that was an issue with a piece of equipment sat between seat and steering wheel...

Thanks tho sue. Was looking forward to going out this weekend. Hope your well soon too.

Popping in to say hi, been pretty busy working on fitting out the Disco as a camper (some detail in a thread here: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f16/disco-1-camper-build-257728.html )

Went out for the first "test run" on the weekend. Up to the Dales for a quiet spot by the river (I spotted some campers there on the way back from our last Greenlaning trip). After 3 weeks of warm and sunny weather though, it decides to get freezing cold the 1 night we head away!

All went pretty well. I forgot to bring the levelling blocks that I bought, so we slept on a slight lean :( Bed was comfy though! Plenty of storage space - still heaps to spare! Jean made a cracking curry, but it was pretty slow going - we bought an "economy" gas cooker but it was pretty puttu (Kiwi for crap). Went back to Go Outdoors on Sunday to upgrade to a turbo-charged one :D

My home-made rear awning needs a bit of work, and the tarpaulin I bought online had 2 eyelets ripped out in the 1 trip  but overall, was pretty successful!

Yeah cheers for that. Have you had any experience with the insurance/reduction thing? Someone else mentioned it as well, but interested to know how much it might go down by

I've changed the first post a bit, anyone got any problems with it. I thought it was worth putting in writing.
